A contemporary coming-of-age romance · Twelve private letters
Dear
Someone
“Someone will receive this.
Someone will know where I am.”
Nora Ellis has packed two bags, an old cardigan, and an alarm clock too stubborn to leave behind. Tomorrow she starts college. Tonight she is trying to write the kind of letter a grateful girl ought to send.
Then she starts again.

A place for the things she cannot say
She doesn’t know your name.
She tells you the truth anyway.
A scholarship brings Nora to Briarfield College. An invitation to write brings her to you: the anonymous someone on the other side of the page.
At first, she tells you about drawers and dining halls. About the rules everybody else seems to know. About the difference between being offered a seat and believing it is yours.
Then come the friendships, the words she dares to write, and a young man who is harder to forget than she would like. As Nora begins to belong, her letters become more intimate—and the things she has left unsaid become harder to keep out.
Warm, funny, and quietly aching, Dear Someone is a contemporary reimagining inspired by Jean Webster’s Daddy-Long-Legs.
A new envelope. A little more of her life.
The first hello
Your welcome introduces Nora before she arrives at college. Letter One is scheduled about fifteen minutes after the welcome, with delivery checks every fifteen minutes.
Twelve private letters
Each substantial letter opens another week of Nora’s fictional autumn. The next is scheduled seven days after the previous successful send. Read at your own pace; each arrival waits in your inbox.
The things she keeps
Photorealistic images and digital keepsakes give you something to look at, save, and return to: a desk beginning to feel like hers, two cups at a café, a flower she could not throw away.
You needn’t answer
to make her keep writing.
But if you do, Nora can answer within the part of her world you have already received. Fictional, automated character replies are limited to one response per day. Your complete twelve-letter story never depends on replying.

A few things before you begin
What am I purchasing?
A welcome and twelve complete story letters, delivered digitally, with accompanying images and digital keepsakes. The one-time price is $29 USD. There is no recurring subscription and no physical mailing.
When do the letters arrive?
The welcome enters the delivery queue after successful checkout. Delivery is checked every fifteen minutes. Letter One is scheduled about fifteen minutes after the welcome sends; each remaining letter is scheduled seven days after the preceding successful send. Nora’s dates belong to her fictional autumn rather than your purchase calendar.
Who am I in Nora’s story?
You occupy the fictional anonymous correspondent’s place. Nora’s scholarship, college, and relationships are part of the authored story. Your purchase does not fund a real scholarship or create a real relationship with a student.
Can I write back?
Yes. Reply to Nora’s address. Eligible readers can receive one fictional, automated character response per day, using only everyday background and the story chapters already delivered. Replies do not change the plot or delivery schedule. For account, delivery, or purchase questions, contact info@storiesdelivered.com.
Is this story right for me?
A contemporary coming-of-age romance for readers who love intimate letters, dry humor, small acts of kindness, and the uncertainty of learning to belong. Themes include bereavement, financial insecurity, and rebuilding trust. Romance is clean; the central narrator is twenty.
